This morning, I had a simple yet profound realization about what makes life meaningful. 🌅 Normally, on busy days like today, I wake up, get ready for the office, and rush out the door. 🚶♂️💨 But today, Guven suggested I stay for a coffee. ☕ My first reaction was, "No, I need to go to the office—it’s a busy day." But then I paused and asked myself, "Do I really need to rush? ⏳ Is there anything urgent that needs to be addressed early in the morning?" I realized there wasn’t. So, I decided to make coffee for us ☕ and suggested we take a short walk before I headed to the office. 🚶♀️
We walked for about ten to twenty minutes, sipping our coffees, and it was wonderful. 🌳✨ Mornings are often the best time to connect because we’re both energized after a good night’s sleep. 😴☀️ It made me reflect on how we often prioritize work as the most important thing in our day, but is it really? 💼❓ Of course, jobs are important—we need to earn a living—but it shouldn’t be the sole focus every single day. On some days, the most important thing can be spending twenty minutes of quality time with your partner. ❤️👫 These are the moments we remember, not the early morning grind. ⏰💭
Choosing to spend time with Guven this morning made me feel free. 🕊️ When I rush to work, it often feels like I am being pushed by external forces. 🌪️ But when I prioritize our relationships and spend time with the people we love, it feels like a conscious choice. ✨ This not only makes me happy but also gives me a sense of freedom—the ability to prioritize what truly matters to me. 💫
I understand that not everyone has the privilege to manage their time so flexibly. ⏰ Not everyone can take a morning walk on a weekday. But even if you can’t, you can still find small ways to connect—like a few minutes of focused time with your loved one before diving into emails when you wake up. 📩
Mornings are full of energy, and spending that time meaningfully can set the tone for the rest of the day.
Today, I feel energized, happy, and hopeful. 😊🌿 Starting the day this way feels like I’m already ahead of the version of myself who begins her day in a negative and rushed state. 🚀✨
It’s a reminder that sometimes, the simplest moments can be the most meaningful. 💛
Cheers,
Sidika
